This link is dedicated to discussing questions that arise from Christians seeking to know more of God's Word and Will. It is facilitated by the pastor of Tri-County Christian Church (Middletown).
I have been happily married to my college sweetheart, Vicki, since August 5, 1972. We have two children and six grandchildren.
I am blessed to do the two things I love most ... preaching and teaching. I am the preaching minister at Tri-County Christian Church and I teach for Indiana Wesleyan University. I am not sure life could get any better on this side of Heaven's gate.
Great question. No ... they are not the same. For those who are listening in and do not know ... geocentricity claims that the earth is the center of the universe and all rotates around it. Heliocentricity claims the sun is the center of the universe and all rotate around it. (By the way ... I get material sent to me every once in awhile still arguing the validity of geocentricity.)
Evolution/creation argues the origin of the universe ... not what is at its center. And ... of course ... creation/evolution deals with the birth of all of creation ... not just our universe.
